Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst

Role Description

Working with a data platform that gathers information about the appropriate company from various sources, normalizes it according to the predefined flow, and shows it to the user as analytical dashboards. The gathered and processed information lets the end-user decide regarding the investigated company's business state. Analytical information helps to predict the future state of the appropriate company.

As an investor, the client provides high-value analysis and support to partner companies to identify and mitigate emerging business challenges. Today, the process is highly manual and fragmented.

The project aims to expand a digital platform that connects client employees with relevant and meaningful information about their portfolio holdings, enabling insights and action.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Business Analysis and Product Ownership (or willing to grow as Product Owner)
• Strong facilitation and ownership skills
• Strong experience in Business Analysis techniques and practices
• Strong skills with Requirements identifying and documenting
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum
• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
• Knowledge of Requirements Management tools
• Ability to perform GAP, root cause analysis
• Experience in the finance software domain (nice to have)
• Experience in development of AI features (nice to have)
• Fluent English (comprehensive written and verbal communication)

Requirements

• Requirements management: elicitation, clarification, docs preparation, keeping requirements up to date
• Working closely with UI/UX experts
• Leading refinement sessions with the development team
• Roadmap management: create, define, keep up to date, track cross-team dependencies
• Backlog management and prioritization
• (Initiate)/Manage POC development and lead new feature implementation from 0 to 1
• Release management: prepare scope, additional instructions, etc.
• Support of developers: clarification of expected results and problems described in defects, clarification and explanation of requirements around the area, identification of end-user cases
• Support of QA: clarification of STRs, requirements around the area, business cases, and complex scenarios preparation
• Organizational activities: Scrum Masters substitution, meetings handling and facilitation, documents and processes changes, and new initiatives implementation
• Perform gap analysis between high-level and low-level requirements
• Reporting: team release scope management
