Senior Process EngineerOur client, a global leader in biofuel, ethanol, and biochemical process technology is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design, equipment sizing, simulation, commissioning, and startup activities for innovative greenfield and brownfield projects.Salary Range: $110,000–$135,000 annually. Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.Key Responsibilities:Develop process simulations, PFDs, and P&IDsPerform heat & material balances and hydraulic calculationsSize and specify pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, tanks, valves, and instrumentationCreate equipment specifications and support 3D model reviewsDesign process control strategies and provide startup/commissioning supportDrive process optimization and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field10+ years of process engineering experience in biofuels, biochemicals, ethanol, biodiesel, SAF, biogas, chemical processing, or oil & gasExpertise with Aspen, HYSYS, CHEMCAD, PRO/II, or similar process simulation softwareSolid knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, OSHA, NFPA, and process safety principlesExperience with heat exchanger design, hydraulic calculations, instrumentation, and control valve sizingPE license preferredWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
