Custodian OpportunityWe believe our employees are the reason for our success, and our compensation and benefits are designed to reflect that belief.Join our team and enjoy all the perks we offer which include: competitive wages, pay increases every 6 months, benefits first day, sign on/referral bonuses; 2 weeks paid vacation, 13 paid holidays, employee focused events, and much more.We have a custodian opportunity on first shift!Essential functions:Perform cleaning functions specific to the facility and based on project requirements.Responsible for interior/exterior painting.Light carpentry and cosmetic upkeep to ensure the buildings are clean, safe, and visually presentable.Perform limited grounds maintenance.Operate mobile equipment and aerial work platforms to perform assigned duties.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and powered equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and abilities:Must pass a background check.Stand for prolonged periods of time.Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.Understand written and verbal instructions.Follow all safety procedures.Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.Ability to safely use hand and power tools.Must be willing and available to work overtime, as needed.Education:High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.We consider all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, handicap, genetic information, disability or status as a veteran.
