Location: Chicago, IL Hospital: RUSH University Medical Center Department: Neurological Sciences Headache Medicine - Clinical Faculty Rush University Medical Center Chicago, IL Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Headache Medicine Physician. The Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center is growing and looking to add BC/BE academic and community Neurologists who have completed a Fellowship in Headache Medicine to their downtown Main Campus location. The Main Campus general neurology practice current team includes 6 academic clinical neurologists with Headache Medicine expertise. Candidates will have a faculty appointment and join the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center, Division of Headache Medicine and Neuro-ophthalmology. Opportunities to grow outpatient Headache Medicine Practice, including procedures, will include outpatient and inpatient settings. Teaching and research opportunities are also available if desired by the candidate. Qualified candidates must be graduates from an ACGME-accredited neurology residency and must be eligible for the ABPN in General Neurology and UCNS in Headache Medicine. Outstanding clinical skills are required. Candidates will have a faculty rank commensurate with experience. A competitive salary and benefits package are available. There are wonderful opportunities to collaborate clinically with over 100 faculty spanning the neurologic subspecialties and to teach with over 40 residents and fellows in most clinical subspecialty areas. The department also boasts a strong research infrastructure allowing faculty to thrive in their research pursuits. Rush has made a commitment to significantly grow the already robust neuroscience program and footprint regionally and nationally, including with a new ambulatory building that opened in 2023.
