Qualifications & Experience Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license required Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Understanding of pediatric development and the role of PT within elementary schools Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Strong documentation skills and ability to develop individualized student goals Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for students with diverse needs Key Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative PT services to a caseload of 12-15 elementary students Assess students, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to each childs needs Document services and student progress, maintaining compliance with school and state regulations Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting Offer training, resources, and support to classroom staff as needed Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care This role offers 20 hours per week during the school year, allowing for a positive work/life balance while still making a meaningful impact.
