This position supports advanced, business‑critical applications and will contribute to the design and development of polished, high‑impact user interfaces that support complex workflows.Senior Front-End Software EngineerAs a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and back‑end engineering teams to translate product vision and requirements into high‑quality, production‑ready software. Your work will emphasize clean, maintainable front‑end code, strong UX principles, accessibility, and performance best practices.ResponsibilitiesConsistently write bug‑free, well‑tested, and maintainable front‑end code using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.Js, taking full ownership of the quality and reliability of assigned featuresDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable front‑end features within a fast‑paced, collaborative development environmentBuild prototypes and translate product and customer requirements into elegant, user‑friendly solutions with a strong focus on UX, accessibility, and responsive designOptimize application performance through refactoring, tuning, and usability improvements, leveraging data and metrics to guide technical decisionsSupport the rollout of new features and enhancements by integrating insights from user behavior, system monitoring, and product feedbackCollaborate closely with QA to ensure cohesive, high‑quality, and usable solutions are delivered across the full product lifecycleEvaluate, test, and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve scalability, performance, and maintainabilityActively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and continuous delivery activitiesProduce clear, effective documentation to support maintainability, onboarding, and internal knowledge sharingImplement and maintain unit tests and participate in peer code reviews to ensure consistent quality and adherence to best practicesCollaborate across engineering, product, and design teams to deliver end‑to‑end functionality aligned with business and customer needsManage Git‑based workflows, including branching strategies and merge conflict resolutionParticipate in CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to ensure smooth, reliable releases across development, test, and production environmentsSupport and maintain existing software functionality, contributing to shared internal resources and documentationStay current with modern front‑end frameworks, libraries, and development practices and contribute to continuous improvement effortsQualifications8+ years of hands‑on software development experience, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining scalable, user‑centric web applicationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceProven experience delivering production‑ready front‑end solutions using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.JsStrong foundation in front‑end architecture, including building reusable component libraries, optimizing performance, and implementing accessible, responsive interfacesDemonstrated ability to deliver features end‑to‑end, from early prototyping through production deployment, with a strong UX and product mindsetSolid experience with performance tuning, refactoring, unit testing, and front‑end automationComfort analyzing system‑level feedback, user behavior, and performance metrics to guide iterative developmentStrong commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code and contributing positively to code reviews and team collaborationHands‑on experience using Git in multi‑developer, collaborative environmentsFamiliarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and front‑end or full‑stack deployment workflowsExperience working in AWS environments, including services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, and KinesisProven ability to solve complex technical and business problems across evolving software architecturesAbility to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentsPay Range: $100,000-$160,000 Commensurate with experienceVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position.About RFA EngineeringRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
