That is why we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who not only builds great software, but knows how to harness AI as a force multiplier to help build the SaaS farm management operating system of the future.What You Will DoLearn agriculture and become well-versed in the workflow and business needs of PickTrace customers in order to craft an elegant, high-performance user experienceHelp advocate for best practices for development processes and deployment, including the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflowsUse AI tools as a force multiplier — applying AI assistants to accelerate coding, research, debugging, and documentation across the stackHelp build and maintain a collaborative culture that fosters collaboration, innovation and continuous improvementWork full stack across the back end and front endWrite efficient, scalable, and easily testable APIsWrite reusable frontend componentsMentor other engineersContribute to maintainable code by performing code reviews and writing testsWho We Are Looking ForFluent in English (verbal and written)You have 4+ years of experience building web based softwareHigh level languages similar to Go, Kotlin, C#, Python, JavaFront end languages similar to HTML, CSS, Typescript, and ReactExperience with containerized apps (Docker) is a plusCloud - experienced in setting up, architecting, and deploying servicesExperience with AI-assisted workflowsActively uses AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) as a core part of daily developmentComfortable running agentic coding workflows where AI tools autonomously handle multi-step tasksAble to critically evaluate, test, and take full ownership of AI-generated code — understanding its limitations and knowing when not to trust itYou are an innovative, big picture thinker and pragmatic with technical detailsYou have a knack for simplifying, breaking down, and honing in on the core elements of problems to drive towards iterative solutionsYou have strong communication skills and can work effectively with a cross-functional team (including with non-technical colleagues)If this sounds like you, we would absolutely love to meet you!
