Assistant manager
Amani Care Services
Assist the House Manager in running the group home and supporting staff and clients. Help ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment while following 245D policies.
Responsibilities
Support daily care of clients (ADLs and supervision)
Help staff with schedules and daily tasks
Make sure documentation (T-logs, MAR, GER) is completed
Assist with medication administration
Maintain a clean and safe home
Report incidents and concerns to House Manager
Support new staff training
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience in group home or caregiving (preferred)
Basic knowledge of 245D (preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Pass background check
Skills
Good communication
Responsible and reliable
Team player
Able to handle basic problem-solving
Work Schedule
Flexible (days, evenings, weekends)
