Material Handler

About The Role The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environments. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and safely to support operational needs. The Material Handler collaborates closely with inventory control and shipping departments to maintain accurate records and timely order fulfillment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety. Ultimately, the Material Handler contributes to the overall productivity and success of the supply chain by managing materials effectively from receipt through shipment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. Ability to read and interpret barcodes and use warehouse management systems. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials safely. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with assembly line operations.
