Phlebotomist - Part Time

Labcorp seeks a part-time phlebotomist for hospital-based specimen collection in Rome, New York. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary draws, processing specimens, maintaining patient records, and delivering customer service in a Monday–Friday morning schedule plus rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 6 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Compensation: $17.75–$23.00 per hour
