Sterile Processing Tech

Position Overview

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for supervising and managing the sterile processing department. The role requires a focus on ensuring that all sterilization processes are conducted to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the sterile processing department.
• Ensure compliance with sterilization protocols and infection control standards.
• Manage staff schedules and oversee employee performance.
• Coordinate the training and development of staff members.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sterile processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure adequate supply levels and equipment availability.

Experience Requirements

Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of documented supervisory or management experience in sterile processing, along with at least one travel contract experience. The ideal candidate will have experience beyond a Lead Technician role.

License and Certification Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid certification as a Sterile Processing Technician, such as either the CRCST or CBSPDT certification.

Scheduling Details
