Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and meticulous medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing and assessing surgical conditions through the interpretation of lab results and imaging studies

• Offer intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and adeptly handing off surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide exemplary pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized and accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practice are highly preferred

Certification Criteria

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
