Details Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System CT Tech department 4x10 hour shifts on days, evenings, or nights based on department need Weekend work required every week Float required between two hospital locations, one in CT and one in RI Utilizes GE Optima CT660 scanners along with GE and Siemens equipment EPIC charting system in use Free parking available on site Requirements Minimum 1.5 years of hospital CT experience required BLS certification required ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certifications required CT and RI state licenses required, license required if applicable Epic charting experience required Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment required Skilled in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement preferred Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture preferred Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Additional Information Perform CT imaging of the abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal system, and chest Conduct cardiac CT studies including calcium scoring and coronary CTA Perform vascular CTA, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted COVID-19 booster required unless religious or medical exemption applies Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved Former staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to return as a traveler One reference required for consideration Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-748673.
