PRN DietitianAramark Healthcare+ is seeking a PRN Consulting Dietitian at Baylor Medical Center- Plano. Schedule: As needed. One weekend coverage per month. With 160 licensed beds, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Plano offers a broad range of services, including oncology, digestive disease, bariatric surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pulmonology, neurology, neurosurgery and interventional radiology.Job Responsibilities:Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needsProvide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changesCollaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition careMonitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as neededStay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutritionAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related fieldRegistered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD eligibleAt least one year of clinical experience preferredLicensed Dietitian status in TexasStrong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsPassion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition careConditions of employment may or may not include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
