Applicants must be proficient with AutoCad, HydraCad, or AutoSprink programs. Applicants will be required to pass background and drug screening.Duties:Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.Assist Design Manager with oversight, training, and mentoring of design staff.Prepare material submittals, O&M Manuals and As BuiltsPrepare stocklists/fabrication reportsProvide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.Qualifications:Three years' experience in fire sprinkler designAutoSPRINK experience requiredNICET Level II or higher certification preferredMust be familiar with NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.Technical understanding of fire sprinkler design including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systemsProficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office programsTexas RME-G license a plusSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
