Detailed Job Description:
We're seeking a detail-oriented SQL + VBA Developer with ~5 years of hands-on experience to build, optimize, and maintain data automation solutions. You will design robust SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL routines, and develop Excel/Access-based VBA automations to streamline reporting, reconcile data, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Develop and maintain VBA macros (Excel/Access) for reporting, data processing, and UI forms.
- Build automated data pipelines, validations, and reconciliation frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality, performance tuning, error handling, and documentation.
- Support production issues, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years in SQL development (T-SQL/PL-SQL) and VBA programming (Excel/Access). Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and data modeling. Proficient in ETL concepts, performance tuning, and version control (Git). Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and attention to detail.
