Job Title: Turret Punch Press Operator
Job Description

As a Turret Punch Press Operator, you will operate Strippet Turret machines and learn the process of setups. You will utilize fanuc controls, set parameters, and run programs. Reading from blueprints and utilizing GD&T for tolerances and inspections will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading and unloading large stacks of sheet metal into machines, stacking sheet metal, and grinding and deburring sheet metal as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate Strippet Turret machines and learn setup processes.
• Utilize fanuc controls to set parameters and run programs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and utilize GD&T for tolerances and inspections.
• Load and unload large stacks of sheet metal into machines and stack sheet metal.
• Grind and deburr sheet metal as needed.

• 2+ years of experience in turret operating or setup.
• Experience with GD&T and blueprints.
• Precision sheet metal fabrication knowledge.

• Preferred knowledge of car-type mechanical systems.
• Solid references based on attendance record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely nice climate-controlled fabrication job shop with custom projects. Most of the machines are just a few years old, allowing you to work with state-of-the-art equipment daily.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of St Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
