Kitchen Manager / Line Lead (Full-Time)
About Us We are a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen dedicated to serving up the best comfort food in town. Our menu focuses on high-volume favorites done right: smash burgers, fried chicken, house smoked barbecue, and steak & cheeses. We pride ourselves on consistency, speed, and a great team culture. If you love the rush of a busy grill and fry station but also have the organizational skills to run a tight ship, we want you to lead our kitchen. The Role- We are seeking a hands-on, full-time Working Kitchen Manager. This is not an office job—you will be the anchor of our line, cooking side-by-side with the team while managing day-to-day operations. You will bridge the gap between high-volume culinary execution and smart business management. What You Will Do- Lead the Line: Anchor the grill, fry, and assembly stations during peak hours to ensure speed and ticket accuracy. Manage Operations: Handle inventory, ordering, food cost controls, and vendor relationships. Team Leadership: Train, schedule, mentor, and motivate back-of-house staff. Quality & Safety: Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Prep Control: Oversee daily prep lists, meat grinding/portioning, and ensure recipe consistency. What We Look For Experience: 2+ years of kitchen management or senior lead line cook experience. Skills: Expertise with high-volume flat-tops, fryers, and short-order execution. Leadership: A positive attitude that inspires a team during heavy rushes. Knowledge: Solid understanding of food safety regulations, inventory control, and food costing. Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and evening shifts.
