The position involves administration of chemotherapy and supportive care. Key responsibilities include managing ports and administering acute treatments. The nurse will be involved in patient education and support. Documentation will be performed using an electronic charting system. The environment requires adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols. The nurse will monitor patients for adverse reactions and responses to treatment. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for comprehensive patient care. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with intravenous therapy and symptom management is required. This role emphasizes the importance of patient-centered care and advocacy.
