Warehouse AssistantLong Beach Office - Signal Hill, CA 90755OverviewSalary Range $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School or Equivalent Travel Percentage Up to 25%DescriptionWorks under the direction of the Warehouse Manager to support daily operations, including loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and inspecting inventory, re-stocking materials, and maintaining a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesStock and organize all inventoryLoad and unload palletized goods, cases, and trucks/trailersCount, verify, and inspect incoming and outgoing inventory itemsUtilize warehouse systems to accurately pick, scan, and prepare items for shipmentSafely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts (training and certification provided)Maintain general warehouse cleanliness and perform sanitation tasksAssist with shipping, receiving, and maintaining warehouse equipment (including trucks and trailers)Maintain vehicle logs and records according to State and Federal regulationsSupport local event work as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license (CDL-A or CDL-B preferred)Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) per company requirements to operate vehicles on company businessCurrent DOT Medical CardMust meet all Federal Motor Carrier Regulation standardsForklift operation experience (certification provided if not already held)Knowledge of safe warehouse equipment operationWorking knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in construction helpfulEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperiencePrevious warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience preferredForklift and warehouse equipment operation experience preferredEvent or construction industry experience a plusSkillsBasic computer skills to maintain electronic inventory systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform manual labor, including repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, and pullingAbility to work at heights using ladders or mechanical liftsStrong attention to safety and compliance with regulationsScheduleFull-time on-site positionMust be able to work days, evenings, or night shifts as business needs requireOvertime, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs may be required*Must be able to complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
