Referment is working with an established investment and technology firm whose internal venture studio explores new technology-led businesses beyond its core investment activity. It is seeking an Entrepreneur in Residence for an approximately six-month, full-time programme focused on identifying and developing opportunities in areas such as fintech, insurtech and data analytics. You will have room to originate ideas, but the role is equally about disciplined research and execution. Concepts with sufficient promise can progress into firm-backed ventures, with the Entrepreneur in Residence expected to take a leading role in building them. The Role Propose new business ideas grounded in meaningful market or customer problems. Research commercial potential, competitive context, delivery requirements and key risks. Prepare clear venture plans that allow ideas to be assessed and prioritised. Lead the execution of concepts selected for further development. Build effective teams and collaborate with specialists across technology, investing and business functions. What We're Looking For Proven ability to generate, research and lead new ventures. Relevant domain knowledge in fintech, insurtech or data analytics. Strong critical thinking, commercial analysis and execution skills. Excellent communication, team-building and collaborative working ability. This could suit a founder, venture builder, product-led operator or strategy leader who has taken technology-enabled business ideas from initial thesis into execution.
