2027 Future Talent Program - L&D (Learning & Development) Coordinator - Co-op

Six-month co-operative assignment with Merck's Learning & Development team at West Point, managing day-to-day training operations including course assignments, compliance records, and process improvement projects within the Learning Management System.
Responsibilities
- Process training requests through portal including course assignments, curriculum updates, and completion tracking in LMS
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures in Learning Management System accurately and timely
- Assist with projects to improve training effectiveness such as creating guides, testing digital tools, and automating repetitive tasks
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in HR, Business Administration, MIS, Instructional Design, or related field
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- High attention to detail for database management and document formatting
- Intermediate Excel proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and filters
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
