NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks an “ ABAP DATA MIGRATION RESOURCE ” to join our team in “INDIA”.

Client's business problem to solve?

• Design and develop data migration programs for RAR-specific objects (contract combination, performance obligations, event data, legacy revenue balances)
• Build extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) programs using LSMW, BDC, LTMC, or custom ABAP
• Develop data validation and reconciliation reports comparing legacy vs. migrated RAR data
• Support mock migration cycles and cutover data loads
• Work closely with functional RAR/FICO consultants to understand data mapping requirements
• Optimize migration programs for performance (large data volumes)
• Document migration programs and data mapping specifications
• Troubleshoot data load errors and support post-migration data corrections

Position's General Duties and Tasks

In these roles you will be responsible for:

• Design and develop data migration programs for RAR-specific objects (contract combination, performance obligations, event data, legacy revenue balances)
• Build extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) programs using LSMW, BDC, LTMC, or custom ABAP
• Develop data validation and reconciliation reports comparing legacy vs. migrated RAR data
• Support mock migration cycles and cutover data loads
• Work closely with functional RAR/FICO consultants to understand data mapping requirements
• Optimize migration programs for performance (large data volumes)
• Document migration programs and data mapping specifications
• Troubleshoot data load errors and support post-migration data corrections

Requirements for this role include:

• 5+ years ABAP development experience, with dedicated data migration project experience
• Hands-on experience with LSMW, BDC, LTMC, or SAP Data Services (BODS)
• Experience migrating financial/revenue data (contracts, billing, GL)
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills

Preferences: -

• Prior experience specifically migrating data into SAP RAR
• Experience with S/4HANA migration cockpit

Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (CST) .  The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
