Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist - Level 2 to join our dynamic team in Benton Harbor, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise to operate CNC machines and produce high-quality components. Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC machinist.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Experience with various CNC machines and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
