Residential Property Manager

Company Description Ozzy Properties, Inc. provides access to prime commercial and residential spaces across Andover, North Andover, Methuen, and Lawrence. Role Description The Residential Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Andover, MA. This role oversees day-to-day operations of residential properties, including coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, handling inquiries, and addressing maintenance requests in collaboration with service providers. The Residential Property Manager is responsible for lease administration tasks such as preparing, reviewing, and renewing leases, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Daily work includes conducting property inspections, monitoring building safety and cleanliness, and supporting rent collection and budgeting activities. The role requires regular interaction with residents to foster positive relationships, resolve concerns promptly, and uphold a high standard of customer service. This position oversees one direct report, the Leasing Agent. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with residents, vendors, and internal teams. Experience with Property Management and Lease Administration, including handling leases, renewals, and tenant documentation. Knowledge of Leases and rental regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply lease terms consistently. Knowledge of affordable housing programs, subsidy agencies, and assistance programs. Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple properties and tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and confidence with basic accounting principles. Proficiency with Yardi property management software and standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, databases). Ability to perform regular on-site inspections, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Prior experience in residential property management or real estate is strongly preferred. Industry credential (ARM, RMP, CPPS, or CALP/NALP) is highly desirable. High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
