Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in the state of Michigan
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and patient approach working with diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and consult with staff and families
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, documenting progress and goals
• Adhere to best practices and regulatory guidelines for school-based therapy
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to integrate strategies across environments
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes
