Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer

Salary: $86,000 - 114,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• We require an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• We are looking for 5+ years of electrical and/or controls engineering experience.
• We need strong knowledge of the NEC and proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
• We require experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
• We are seeking someone with a proven track record of leading projects through design and construction.
• Preferred: experience with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
• Preferred: experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Preferred: PLC/HMI programming experience.
• Preferred: experience on municipal, water/wastewater, mining, industrial, utility, infrastructure, or data center projects.
• Preferred: consulting engineering background.

• We lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls system design projects.
• We perform power system studies, including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, and motor starting analyses.
• We develop and review P&IDs, control narratives, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and related design documentation.
• We design PLC, HMI, and SCADA network architectures.
• We serve as Engineer of Record and provide sealed Arizona design deliverables.
• We conduct QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• We support construction, startup, commissioning, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
