Job Opportunity

Position: Travel RN - Pediatric CVOR

Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM

Unit Information

The Pediatric OR features:

• Number of Beds: 8 Operating Rooms
• Staffing: 25 personnel including Charge RNs, RNs, CSTs, and Anesthesia
• Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, estimated but not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Pediatric CVOR RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Experience in Cardiac and Open Heart surgery is required

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following skills will be prioritized:

• Pediatric experience
• CVOR/Cardiac experience
• Able to function across multiple service lines

Typical Procedures

The unit performs a range of procedures including:

• Orthopedic
• ENT
• Urology
• Spine
• General Surgery
• Gynecology
• Endoscopy
• Plastics
• Cardiac

Responsibilities include managing the operating room, assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre- and post-operative care.
