Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat & Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries through designated entry points using access control procedures and screening equipment according to site guidelines. Verify identification, issue visitor access materials when appropriate, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to site leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting conditions that could impact daily operations. Minimum Requirements: Possess 2+ years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
