General Assistant
Under the direction of the Principal, the General Assistant supports the school by handling general duties as assigned, including office work, cafeteria duty, etc.
1. Performs routine tasks, for example, filing, answering phones, helping students with their meals, distributing mailers, making copies, etc.
2. Exercises good judgment in making decisions.
3. Maintains a confidential manner.
4. Reacts to change productively and performs other duties as assigned.
5. Interacts positively with students and all school and community stakeholders.
6. Maintains regular, on-time attendance.
Minimum requirements of the position:
1. A high school diploma
2. Good interpersonal communication skills
3. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Salary: The pay rate for a General Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year is $15.00 per hour. General Assistants will be assigned to five hours or fewer per day. Hours can only be assigned during the 180-day student calendar.
