At Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. (BCT), our customers count on us for cutting-edge shot blast solutions. We’re searching for an Industrial Field Electrician who thrives on precise conduit, crisp panel wiring, and on-the-spot troubleshooting — in our shop and across the country.

Your mission

Work under the guidance of the Electrical Manager to deliver both maintenance and production electrical work. One week you’ll be wiring a new machine in West Allis; the next, you might be traveling to a customer site to diagnose and commission equipment. Expect roughly 25% travel (in-state, out-of-state, and overnight) with a travel premium added for your time on the road.

The challenge

• Champion safety for yourself and teammates.
• Live BCT’s values and help strengthen our culture.
• Lay out and install circuits in compliance with electrical codes.
• Use hand and power tools properly and effectively.
• Read and apply electrical schematics to wire machines and control panels.
• Collaborate with Assembly and Engineering to deliver on schedule.
• Communicate clearly with peers and customers.
• Lift, push, or pull moderately heavy objects; work at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and articulating lifts.
• Master conduit work: EMT, RMC (IMC is a plus).
• Build panels that look as good as they perform.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on new and used equipment, in-house and in the field.
• Balance multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.

What you’ll bring

• Clear, professional communication and teamwork.
• Comfort with common hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record within the last 3–5 years.
• Readiness for overnight and out-of-state travel.
• Hands-on wiring and conduit experience; proven troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical machine drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work in customer facilities that may be dirty and hot/cold during installs.
• Basic computer skills.

Education & experience pathways

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license; or
• 5–7 years related experience; or
• 10–12 years of progressively responsible related experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred (not required): PLCs, control systems, root-cause analysis.
