Inventory Control Shipping & Receiving Quality Assurance Customer Service Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the company Manage receipt of goods to be stored in the warehouse; identify an appropriate and safe location for each item Operate forklift and pallet jack to load/unload trucks and move finished, palletized product Process all necessary shipping and receiving documentation and enter information into Microsoft Business Central Monitor inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems Coordinate with production team to ensure physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems Keep warehouse clean and organized by performing daily housekeeping duties Verify all goods are received in good condition; take corrective action when missing product or errors are identified Prepare shipments - accurately pick orders, determine pickup/delivery method, ensure timely delivery of orders Pick all components needed for production per Release Production Orders distributed by Production Manager Accept phone calls related to shipping dates and provide information to customer in professional manner Coordinate with carriers on shipping/receiving schedules and rates Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal work load.
