Billing & Collections Specialist, Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest, Calscience, Tustin, CA

Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest seeks a Billing & Collections Specialist to manage client account portfolios, pursue payment on overdue invoices, and resolve billing disputes. The role involves account monitoring, client communication, and collaboration with internal teams to support client retention.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain assigned client account portfolios
- Contact clients verbally and in writing regarding past due invoice payments
- Research and resolve payment conflicts and discrepancies using Oracle and collections software
- Document account activity, escalate negative payment patterns, and provide management updates
- Process credit card payments and attend collections-related conference calls as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency in typing, data entry, and 10-key
- Professional phone communication experience
- Collections policies, procedures, and best practices knowledge preferred
- Associate or Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Authorization to work in United States indefinitely without sponsorship
- Professional English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
Compensation: $20–$24 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
