About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Clinical Pharmacology with a focus on oncology development. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and overseeing clinical pharmacology strategies that span the entire product development lifecycle, from early clinical evaluation to global registration. This leadership role involves serving as the senior subject matter expert in clinical pharmacology, providing strategic guidance to executive leadership, and leading initiatives related to dose selection, optimization, and regulatory strategy. The Head of Clinical Pharmacology will also be responsible for ensuring that quantitative clinical pharmacology is integrated into the development process and will collaborate with various scientific and operational functions to drive data-informed development decisions. Applicants for this role at The Company should have an advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and a minimum of 12 years of industry experience, with a significant focus on oncology. The role requires a proven track record in leading clinical pharmacology activities, extensive knowledge of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and experience with small-molecule oncology therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global regulatory expectations, the ability to influence development strategy, and experience in a matrixed environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with precision medicine, advanced modeling methodologies, and a background in creating or leading a clinical pharmacology function within an emerging biotechnology organization.
