Activities Aide

Join our team at Allendale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as an Activities Aide. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full‑time and Part‑time opportunity available Full‑time: 9 AM-5 PM Weekdays (every other weekend) Part‑time: Sundays and Mondays 9 AM-5 PM $15.92-$22 an hour (all inclusive) Responsibilities of Activities Aide Facilitating daily, weekly and monthly events to encourage socialization and recreation for facility residents Observing residents throughout the event and assisting with coloring, crafts, and other needs Reporting medical concerns to supervisors if needed Crafting, coloring, decorating, playing games, etc. Qualifications for Activities Aide Prior activities experience in a nursing home with dementia experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train! Must be energetic and enthusiastic! An ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age‑related needs of the residents served. High School Diploma or GED.
