Job description _Esthetician Instructor_ *Esthetics Educator* Our Esthetics Program is *GROWING* by Leaps and Bounds and we are looking for more Amazing Educators to *Join our Team*! The Esthetics Educator will work directly with students to guide them through the educational process which will allow them to sit for their State Board Esthetician Exam. We offer ongoing training for our team that is designed to help increase Educator effectiveness in the classroom and introduce new trends in the beauty industry. • Hourly Pay*
• $17 - $25 per hour*
• Schedule*
• Full-Time Tuesday thru Saturday (7:30am - 4:40pm) = 42 hrs
• or
• Part-Time Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday (7:30am - 4:40pm) = 25.5 hrs
• or
• Part-Time Tuesday, Friday & Saturday (7:30am - 4:40pm) = 25.5 hrs

• Responsibilities & Duties*
• Lesson-planning and teaching of Aveda core curriculum, training, and evaluations.
• Record assignments and grades. Manage guest appointments.
• Actively coaching and assisting students (future professionals) with clinic/Spa services to include technical assistance as well as coaching on salon success skills such as guest consultations, re-booking, and retailing.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to keep the work area clean and create a pleasant atmosphere.
• Qualifications and Skills*
• State of Maryland Licensed Esthetician for a minimum of 2 yrs
• 2+ yrs. of experience in the industry
• *Prior teaching, training, or leadership experience a PLUS*
