Join a dedicated healthcare team in a General Acute Care Hospital setting located in the beautiful city of Grass Valley, California. Here, you will provide essential radiology services, including interventional procedures and acute imaging needs. This facility is known for its stroke certification, ensuring that the highest level of care is provided to patients. Engage in a collaborative environment that supports advanced imaging technologies and patient-focused care.

• Provide hospital coverage for various radiology needs, including interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
• Perform stroke CTs and other imaging procedures as necessary.
• Manage outpatient services at Building 4, ensuring radiology availability for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies.
• Conduct required procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, and various centesis exams including CT/US biopsies.
• Support IR procedures like thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tube placements, and abscess drainages.
• Ensure high-quality imaging for ED and ICU patients.
• Collaborate with diagnostic imaging staff including nurses and techs to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology.
• Completion of residency in a relevant field.
• Experience in interventional radiology procedures preferred.
• Strong capability in acute care imaging, especially stroke CTs.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Active California medical license.
• BLS and DEA certifications required during credentialing.
• CA Fluoroscopy certification required at submission.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
