Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Winchester, VA. This position involves providing specialized post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced, on-campus surgery center environment.

Job Details

• Certification, Education, Degree, Location, and Experience Requirements: Valid VA State License or Compact, ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only), minimum of 2+ years of experience in Pre-Operative, Post-Operative, and PACU settings, with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shift hours, guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Required Skills/Experience: Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic EMR experience, IV access skills, critical care level experience, Level 2 Trauma experience.
• Additional Information: Must have the ability to assist with on-campus surgery center cases, work in a unit with 16 beds and a patient ratio of 2:1, and help with float rotations to sister units as needed for helping hands.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate compliance with all required certifications and licensure, with pertinent experience in PACU, Pre-Op, and Post-Op care.
