Benefits: Bonus based on performance Training & development 401(k) Employee discounts Paid time off About the Role: Leon Springs Family Practice PA is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients by delivering high-quality, personalized primary care in a warm and welcoming family practice setting. Schedule: Mon–Thursday, 8am–5pm, Friday 8am-12pm, no weekends] Compensation: $65–$80/hour for patient-facing time — build your own schedule (est. $105,000–$130,000/year at full-time patient hours) Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic assessments Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in a family medicine environment Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies Develop and manage individualized patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment options and preventive care Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using electronic health records (EHR) Provide follow-up care and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) required Active Texas state PA license or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience in family medicine or primary care strongly preferred Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach Preferred Qualifications: Strongly preferred: experience with Athenahealth EHR ACO / value-based care experience is a plus Experience with hormone pellet therapy, or willingness to be trained/certified — this will become a service line for the right candidate About Us: Leon Springs Family Practice PA has been a trusted healthcare provider serving the San Antonio community with compassionate, patient-focused primary care.
