Backend Software Engineer

Salary: $126,650 - 217,350 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent.
• We require an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• You must be eligible to obtain Special Program Access.
• You should have at least 5 years of backend software development experience with technologies such as Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, or SQL Server.
• You should have at least 5 years of experience with Go, Python, Java, or a comparable server-side language.
• You should have at least 5 years of experience using SQL or PL/SQL database technologies.
• You should have a solid understanding of Agile development practices.
• For preferred consideration, we look for 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• For the experienced level, we prefer a bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science plus 5+ years of related experience, or a bachelors degree plus 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
• For the senior level, we prefer a bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science plus 9+ years of related experience, or a bachelors degree plus 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of relevant experience.
• A current U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure development is preferred.
• Experience with concurrency programming is preferred.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS and ReactJS is preferred.
• Strong experience with Go or Java is preferred.
• Basic C++ or Python knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kafka, NiFi, Redis, or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs for complex datasets is preferred.
• Experience leading projects is preferred.
• Experience with AWS cloud is preferred.
• Knowledge of microservices, client-server architecture, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and similar modern architectural patterns is preferred.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed or on-premises software systems is preferred.
• U.S. Person status is required for export control compliance.
