Automotive Body Shop TechnicianChris Auffenberg Ford is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team of auto repair professionals. The Automotive Body Shop Technician will be responsible for completing a wide variety of repairs on vehicles, including body, and paint work. The Technician will work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty by providing excellent service and quality repairs in a timely manner.We offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to grow within the company. Automotive Body Shop Technician will be compensated hourly, and will receive additional performance-based bonuses as well as paid vacation/sick time.Responsibilities:Perform a full range of bodywork repairsPaint surfaces and blend color to match existing finishesDismantle and reassemble damaged body partsRepairs, replace, and adjust glass windows, lights, and handle and body trimAssess damaged vehicles to determine repairs neededDiagnose and troubleshoot various issues and solve complex problemsPerform miscellaneous duties as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as an automotive body technicianAbility to use hand tools and perform basic weldingKnowledge of automotive construction, design, and serviceStrong customer service skillsAbility to operate a range of specialized auto body repair equipmentA valid driver's license and own toolsEEOC Statement: At Chris Auffenberg Ford, we are committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate on any classification protected by law.
