Correctional Health Registered Nurse DaysJoin our team in Downey, CA, as a Registered Nurse in Correctional Health for a 16-week contract. Work day shifts from 0600-1430, 5 days a week, with alternating weekends.ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care per CA State Law. Conduct blood draws and administer medications. Operate independently, making swift clinical decisions.QualificationsActive CA RN License. 2+ years in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health, Med-Surg, Correctional Health, or ER. Skilled in blood draws and medication administration. BLS, MAB/CPI, and Fire Card certifications. COVID vaccination and booster required.PreferredTravel experience. Local candidates welcome.DetailsNo on-call duties. Up to 3 days RTO (none preferred). PPE provided; scrubs in Navy Blue or Black.
