Position: Class A Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Class A Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of a diverse fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, recycling equipment, mobile heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and MRF (Material Recovery Facility) equipment .
This position requires a highly skilled mechanic capable of troubleshooting and repairing equipment from initial diagnosis through completion of the repair , with the objective of keeping the majority of repairs in-house rather than relying on dealerships or outside repair facilities .
The ideal candidate is a "problem solver" who can diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and computer-controlled systems and determine the root cause of failures.
