• 16-bed inpatient Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF)
\n
• Adult patient population (18+)
\n
• Team-based environment with multiple psychiatrists
\n
• EMR: SmartCare
\n

\n Job Responsibilities \n

\n
• Provide psychiatric care in an inpatient PHF setting
\n
• Conduct evaluations, daily rounds, and medication management
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
\n
• Manage acute psychiatric conditions in a structured inpatient environment
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and case management
\n
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
\n
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-based care model
\n

\n Working Hours \n

\n
• 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
\n
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM schedule
\n
• No overnight call
\n
• Inpatient coverage only
\n

\n Qualifications \n

\n
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
\n
• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
\n
• DEA license required
\n
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred
\n

• Strong inpatient psychiatric diagnostic and treatment skills

• Ability to manage acute psychiatric conditions
