Needs to be able to operate a sit-down forklift.
All shifts available:
1st: 6am to 2:30pm
2nd: 2:30pm to 11pm
Temp - Hire
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm plus OT on Saturdays
Forklift Driver
Job Summary
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in supporting production operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and shipments from trucks and containers.
- Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage upon receipt and shipment.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations according to company procedures.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all OSHA, company safety, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Previous forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
- Knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and warehouse procedures.
