Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Night Shift Corrections

Join our team as an LVN for night shifts in a correctional facility in Huntsville, Texas, providing vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in a correctional setting.
Administer medications and IV therapy.
Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Float across units within a 50 mile radius as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
2+ years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Schedule:

Night shifts: 17:45 to 06:15.
13-week assignment, 36 hours/week guaranteed, with potential overtime.
Flexibility for scheduling and unit floating.

Additional Info:

COVID-19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.
Orientation provided post-credentialing.
Travel reimbursement and bonus available.
