The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in transforming operational and financial data into actionable intelligence that guides leadership, supports franchisee success, and underpins our next phase of growth.The Financial Analyst will own core FP&A execution for JETSET Pilates Franchising, partner closely with Accounting to support strong controllership and accurate financial reporting, and drive actionable insights for leadership and franchise partners. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, operational performance, and strategic decision-making, translating data into clarity across development pacing, unit economics, and company-wide performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport financial forecasting and budgeting processes through data-driven insightsMonth-end close process execution and ownership to a high degreeWork with Accounting partners to ensure controllership prioritiesConduct ad-hoc financial analyses to address specific business questionsCreate financial dashboards and reports to track key performance indicatorsHelp oversee invoice, payment, and other processes for controllership and proper general ledger codingCollect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliabilityTrack departmental KPI's on a weekly/monthly, and quarterly basisEvolve and support company data dashboardDevelop and implement data analysis processes to identify trends, patterns, and opportunitiesLeverage financial and operational data to provide insights on business drivers and downstream impactsIdentify operational inefficiencies through data analysisSupport franchise performance evaluation with standardized metricsMarketing Examples: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales promotions using relevant metrics; analyze customer acquisition costs, retention rates, and lifetime value; provide recommendations to optimize marketing spend and improve campaign performanceCreate comprehensive financial reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectivelyUse the company's financial and accounting tools to build, refine, and expand JETSET's custom financial reports and dashboards, delivering clear insights on unit and system performance.Collaborate with BI team members on dashboards for various stakeholdersPresent complex data in an accessible format for non-technical audiencesPartner with departments across the organization to build financial modeling and help them understand the financial drivers and outputs of their businessTranslate business questions into analytical financial frameworksCommunicate insights and recommendations to drive business decisionsPartner with department leaders and executive leadership to align FP&A outputs with strategic priorities and operating decisionsStay current with industry trends and best practices in finance and accountingRecommend and implement improvements to finance and accounting processes, data construction and storage, and analysis processesIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency in reporting workflowsWhat You Need to Be SuccessfulTo excel as a Financial Analyst at JETSET Pilates Franchising, you will need to embody several key qualities and skills that align with our dynamic and fast-paced startup environment:Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracyTechnical Proficiency: Expertise in Excel and data modeling, and proficiency in SQL and business intelligence toolsCommunication Skills: Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insightsAdaptability: Thrive in a rapidly changing environment where priorities may shift quicklySelf-Motivation: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for data-driven improvementsCollaborative Spirit: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectivesBusiness Acumen: Understanding of how data insights connect to business outcomesTime Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesRequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related fieldExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business intelligenceTechnical Skills: Advanced Excel, proficiency in SQL, and experience with BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
