Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for integrating their department's services with the hospitals primary functions, coordinating and integrating services within their department. The Director also develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services, recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care/service, and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members (who are not licensed independent practitioners) meet the needs of patient care and non-patient care services. The Director ensures orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department is provided while also continuously assessing and improving their department's performance and maintains appropriate quality control programs.

What qualifications you will need:

• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) required; CRA preferred
• Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
• 3+ years of clinical experience in imaging and 2+ years of management experience required.

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services.
