The unit is staffed with both day and night shift Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive care to patients in critical need. Staffing Number of Staff: 7 Day/Night Registered Nurses 5 Mid Shift Registered Nurses Type of Staff: 7 Day Shift Nurses 7 Night Shift Nurses Equipment Ventilators BiPAP Machines ECG Machines Arterial Lines Belmont Fluid Warmers Chest Tubes Technology The department utilizes Meditech for Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Requirements Minimum of one year of nursing experience required. Must Have: Prioritizing Skills Time Management Skills De-escalation Course Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training - preferred Preferred Skills: Effective Team Player Procedures Performed Port Placement Chest Tube Insertion Personality Fit Ideal candidates should be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude. A willingness to be coached and to work collaboratively with team members is essential. Work Schedule Weekends and holidays are required: four weekend shifts and two Friday shifts minimum within a four-week schedule, including two major holidays and two minor holidays.
