Rework Technician

Tech Pro Admin 01We are seeking a skilled professional to perform rework on PCBAs and components. The role involves a variety of duties aligned with your training, experience, and skills. You will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.ResponsibilitiesReview the daily work schedule with the manufacturing supervisor.Perform repairs on PCBs based on the daily schedule.Validate materials and required documentation for work orders.Train new hires on SOPs and other procedures as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Skill/Knowledge RequirementsProficient in removing parts from PCBAs and using solder equipment.Skilled in hand soldering, including jumper wires.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read and understand work orders and manufacturing instructions.Accuracy in documentation.Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.Ability to solve practical problems using common sense.Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.1.5 years of extensive BGA rework experience, with BGA rework comprising 90%-100% of daily activities in a professional environment.Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
